What Does "Meta Certified" Mean?

Being Meta Certified means that an individual is a certified expert for all things in the "Meta Universe!" Meta (Facebook) has developed this rigorous process over the course of many years to ensure that those who earn this certificaton are true experts of the platform.

As described by Meta,

"Earning a Meta Certification on a company level means that your business is recognized by Meta as having proven digital expertise through verified certifications, which can lead to more efficient campaigns."

In other words, being a Meta Certified Company, previously a Facebook Premier Marketing Partner, signifies that our company shares and understands Meta’s core competencies. What's the Difference Between "Meta Certified" and "Facebook Certified?"

The Meta Certification is the same thing as the Facebook Certification. "Meta Certified" is just the new name for the certification, which was updated when Facebook rebranded as the "Metaverse." As Meta continues to roll out its rebrand, this verbiage will soon be updated on all platforms owned by Meta.

How Does a Company Become Meta Certified? 

Although one can become individually certified, to become a Meta Certified Company, an agency must meet Meta’s specific employee requirement. Meta's employee requirement for becoming Meta Certified as a company is that over half of the employees within the Meta Division have to earn their Meta Certification by passing the Meta Blueprint Certification Exams (previously known as the Facebook Blueprint Certification).

Because of our team’s dedication to continuing their education, over half of our analysts are now certified at the 400 level, which is extremely advanced! The 400 level exam is called “Meta Media Buying” and once it is passed, an individual is considered a “Meta Media Buying Professional.”
